Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy
Elandel Global Services Limited

Introduction

Modern slavery—including forced labour, servitude, human trafficking, and exploitation—is a serious crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It is unacceptable in any form and is entirely incompatible with the values and ethical standards of Elandel Global Services Limited.

We are committed to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking have no place in our operations, supply chains, or business relationships.

Our Commitment

Elandel Global Services has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We do not condone, support, or engage in any practices that exploit individuals or deprive them of their liberty.

We have established systems and controls to identify, prevent, and respond to risks of modern slavery, and we require the same standards from our suppliers, contractors, partners, and customers.

In alignment with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are committed to transparency and accountability in all aspects of our operations.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees of Elandel Global Services (permanent, temporary, fixed-term, or contract).

  • Directors, officers, trustees, and managers.

  • Contractors, consultants, agents, business partners, affiliates, and supply chain members.

This policy does not form part of any employment contract. Elandel reserves the right to amend it at any time to ensure continued effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Elandel Leadership: Holds overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with legal and ethical obligations under this policy.

  • Managers at All Levels: Must ensure that their teams understand and comply with the policy and receive appropriate training.

  • Employees and Associates: Responsible for preventing, identifying, and reporting any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery.

If any employee or associate suspects modern slavery within our operations or supply chain, they must immediately notify their line manager, a company director, or raise the concern through our Whistleblowing Policy.

Reporting and Protection

  • Concerns should be raised as soon as possible to enable swift action.

  • Elandel encourages openness and will support anyone who reports genuine concerns in good faith, even if those concerns prove to be unfounded.

  • Retaliation or detrimental treatment against individuals who raise concerns is strictly prohibited.

  • Employees who believe they have been treated unfairly after reporting a concern should notify their line manager immediately and, if unresolved, follow the formal grievance procedure.

Where possible, Elandel will work with suppliers to help them address exploitative practices while prioritizing the safety and welfare of affected workers.

Training and Communication

  • Training on this policy forms part of the induction process for all employees and is refreshed periodically.

  • Our zero-tolerance stance will be communicated to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners at the outset of every business relationship and reinforced as necessary.

  • Updates to this policy will be communicated through established channels.

Breach of Policy

  • Employees who breach this policy will face disciplinary action, which may include dismissal for gross misconduct.

  • Elandel may terminate contracts or cease business relationships with individuals or organizations that fail to comply with this policy.

Elandel Global Services Limited
Committed to integrity, fairness, and respect for human rights in all that we do.
